The Oasis Zero Carbon Footprint™ Digipak® lets you make music without harming the earth or atmosphere, or filling up landfills! Featuring the Oasis BottleTray™, the new Zero Carbon Footprint™ Digipak® reduces carbon emissions by 88% overall compared to a jewel case (65% compared to a conventionally-trayed Digipak®). And thanks to careful attention to chain of custody and use of carbon offset credits, the entire package, assembly, shipping — and the CD itself — are rendered 100% carbon neutral for a modest premium of 10¢ per disc.
In addition, the Zero Carbon Footprint™ Digipak’s use of the clear, flexible Oasis BottleTray™ keeps 400 liter-sized water bottles out of landfills or incinerators, as it is made entirely from 100% postconsumer water bottles. And as always, all Oasis products ship in 100% FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) certified corrugated boxes.

How We Achieve
After minimizing the carbon footprint, we offset the remainder by supporting a validated greenhouse gas reduction project we have investigated personally – in conjunction with our supplier Sunlyte® – such as the Freund Family Dairy in East Canaan, CT.
This farm captures the greenhouse gas methane, which is 23 times more harmful to the climate than CO2, and converts it into energy used on the farm, in a process certified by Carbonfund.org.
Watch Matt Freund of The Freund Family Dairy's Methane Capture Project introduce Mike Rowe and the Dirty Jobs crew to a fantastic new product, CowPots.
