Before & After Mastering Examples
Screaming Orphans“Stand” – Screaming Orphans
A well-mixed recording was submitted. Our goal was to add some fullness to the low end, a bit more punch, and bring the overall level up to be competitive in this genre.

  • After Mastering
Jaye Q “Partytown” – Jaye Q
The goal for Partytown was to tighten up the bass slightly, and make sure the vocals and high end popped, as well as raising the overall volume of the track while trying to maintain the punchy feel of the original mix.
  • Before Mastering
  • After Mastering
Audra “Everything Changes” – Audra
EQ changes were minor, simply adding a bit more presence to the mix overall, and again bringing the average volume up while respecting the integrity of the music and not pushing too far for all out volume.

  • After Mastering
Symon Hajjar “Give Me Forever” – Symon Hajjar
Subtle EQ changes to ensure the vocals were clear and the mix had more presence. Some editing and separate processing of the different areas of this song were required to try to preserve the dynamics that existed between the verse/chorus sections while still bringing the overall level up to an acceptable level.

  • After Mastering
Motel Drive “Joyride To Tijuana” – Motel Drive
This mix was approached with the goal of filling out the bottom slightly and increasing the overall level while trying not to take away from the raw feel of the mix, which suits this music well.
