Last month I got a surprise visit from a friend of mine. He's just about the only person I know who still does domestic manufacturing – that's right, he still manufactures stuff right here in the United States. Just like Oasis, from raw material to finished product.

He's very concerned with the environment – and the impact of what he makes (his specialty is the molding of items like CD trays). That night, we put our heads together and worked on whether maybe, just maybe, there's a way to make use of the millions and millions of water and soda bottles that are thrown out every day by consumers. After brainstorming together we zeroed in on a new way to create a Digipak tray out of nothing other than bottles that were being destined for the landfill or incinerator.

What you see here is the result of our effort together. A new line of Digipaks with 100% post-consumer flex trays. I don't know when I've ever been more excited about a product! They look great, they feel great, and they are almost jump-for-joy great for the environment. In fact, a standard run of 1,000 trays keeps four hundred bottles out of a landfill.
